CROSS™ Knee Orthosis for Knee Hyperextension

CROSS™ is a semi-rigid knee orthosis designed to help control knee hyperextension. It is specifically developed to work together with an Allard AFO (ankle-foot orthosis), creating a streamlined composite orthotic solution without straps or buckles interfering between the two orthoses.

The cross-shaped posterior support helps stabilise the knee and limit hyperextension, while the lightweight, low-profile design promotes comfort and ease of use.

Easy One-Handed Donning

CROSS™ features a unique design that makes the knee brace easy to put on and take off with one hand. This can be particularly helpful for users with limited hand function, mobility or balance.

The orthosis features an ultra-smooth, low-friction liner with no visible seams, helping minimise skin irritation. The soft inner surface allows the orthosis to glide smoothly over the foot and up the leg and knee.

A strategically positioned silicone band helps prevent the knee orthosis from migrating or slipping during use.

Designed for Easy Application

The reinforced, wide upper cuff helps keep the orthosis open, allowing the foot and leg to slide easily into the brace. This design supports independent application for users who have difficulty putting on traditional knee braces.

A built-in donning aid provides additional assistance by helping users guide the orthosis over the foot and pull it up the leg, making CROSS™ easier to apply for people with limited balance or functional ability.

Adjustable Range of Motion (ROM) Stops

CROSS™ includes adjustable ROM stops, allowing the orthosis to be configured according to individual clinical requirements:

• Flexion: 45°, 60°, 75° and 90°

• Extension: 0°, 10°, 20°, 30° and 40°
