California Soft Spinal Orthosis – Modular Spinal Support and Stabilisation

The California Soft Spinal Orthosis is a pre-fabricated spinal support system designed to help alleviate pain, limit unwanted spinal movement and provide circumferential compression for enhanced spinal stabilisation. The modular orthosis combines rigid internal components with a soft, comfortable interface to provide effective support while maintaining patient comfort.

The Original California Soft Spinal Orthosis is primarily indicated for spinal conditions affecting the L3 to S1 region. For conditions involving the upper lumbar and thoracic spine between T7 and L3, the system can be expanded with an anterior, posterior or combined upper thoracic component.

Modular and Adjustable Spinal Support

The California Soft Spinal Orthosis features a fully modular and interchangeable design, allowing components to be retrofitted and configured to meet individual patient requirements. Optional Velcro-attached lateral stabilising supports can be added when greater control of lateral flexion and rotational movement is required.

The anterior and posterior ABS modular components can be heat-moulded and flared to achieve a more intimate, anatomically appropriate fit. This customisable design allows healthcare professionals to optimise the level of spinal support, stability and patient comfort.
